pretty much about how life is becomin extremely monotonous, everyone is doin their own thing.. its gettin nearer to the A's.. but as much as i complain about this whole process, after its over, I m sure to miss it a teeny weeny bit at least. the void.
But I would definitely not miss it too much. I miss the guilt-free going outs, the BEACH, the kids, and the friends much more .
I think I m becomin very housewifey as of late. When the weather is extremely hot and sun is GLARING , i immediately think' Do i have any clothes to wash? How nice to dry clothes' And if i see fresh fruits and vegetables, I almost instantaneously try to conjure up a home-made recipe, with those ingredients.
Yes, nowadays, I enjoy cooking. Probably also because I have been treating my stomach like a resistant garbage truck, loading outside food ALL The time. I dont blame my mother. she cant possibly get up earlier than 4 jus to cook.. besides, she cooks dinner . SO, yes, i have been trying... THanks to nithya, my phobia of using the oven to bake things has also lessened. so i have increased my variety of recipes...
i wouldnt say i m a terrible cook. neither am i fantastic. I m trying and nothin YET has turned out extremely horrible. And cookin is really somethin you can be adventurous with... Besides, all that watching of cookin shows when i was young helped.
An example of my fantabulous thought process: I wanted to eat hotdogs. Nithya was hungry. SO i thought okay jus fry the hot dogs, then i saw somethin that looked like lettuce in my fruit basket. SO i said okay, we can do like a wrap.. prata wrap. with lettuce and hot dog.. but turns out the lettuce was guava ( i m blind regrettably) so fine, idea stays we put mayo.. then i searched my cupboards..found a unopened bottle of tandoori paste. its actually a marinate paste. OKAY, tandoori paste with hotdogs.. oh no, even better. tandoori paste on the prata, chopped hotodogs and succulent FRESH tomatoes and lots of cheese . into the oven. ta-da!
