okay anyways.
yesterday was RHD. and everyone looked so gorgeous. shit.
it was like we were all attendin someone's marriage
took abt 90 pics and 4 videos.
can u imagine!

from full battery in my cam to zero.

and everyone looked soo good.
well it was my first wearin my costume.
i wasnt that comfortable.thank gawd i had matchin earrings.
which were more eye-catchin at least.

and yea. i tried takin pics wif almost everyone i knew.
impossible feat.

well well . despite the jealousy and the flauntin of costumes and assests,
there was another impt issue brought up.
that occured to me.
two actually.
the first being my school's unbelievable response to cross-dressing.
and two being the subject of racial harmony itself.

1.
i was absolutely DISGUSTED with the way my principal handled that issue.
u call it cross dressing. fine enuf.
then u say its stated that such dressin is NOT permitted in the guidelines.and it WASNT u freakin eyeball popper.
and THEN, u make suuuchhh a big hoo-haa and spoil their moods.
mind u, they were lookin so much betta than half of the chinkees wearin saris or rather, cloth.
if u want to ban somethin, BAN those gals from wearin crewneck shirts with saris.
they think sari is a mere piece of cloth u wrap ur body with.
and sit in class with their t-shirts and saris on their lap.

if u want to ban somethin, ban those idiots who wear tubes or wateva article of clothin they wear under to cover their assests which honestly, to me, doesnt serve ANY purpose at all.
we , being the indian gals , ALREADY wore the traditional ones .
and u come with modified articles of OUR religious clothin.

take it and stuff it up ur ass.

some IRO officer came to talk to us. abt stuff. and he said somethin, somethin quite interesting.
he mentioned that he hates the word tolerance .tolerance of other races.
and that tolerance means, i get irritated wif u but i shut up and vice versa.
he said that instead, we should PROMOTE the understandin of racial and religious blah blah
i told this to vj
and he told me 'Tell this to the chinkees, who think deepavali is new year.'

true true. tolerance is a bad word. fine enough.
but then is racial harmony day TRULY serving its purpose.

in class yesterday i explained to the best i could abt the various saris and punjabi suits.
and the gals who borrowed the costumes, dint kno wat they were called, why they had to beput in such a manner.
SHEESH.
and u call this generation an intelligent one.
and they all come up and ask, u got sari ...but dont kno how to tie it, dont know wat ELSE is required other than a sari to wear one.
dono wats the TRUE purpose of a sari.

and another thing... creativity , race and religion dont go very well all the time.
